We bring together outstanding schools united by a shared commitment to an exceptional, holistic education, strong values and the belief that partnership creates something special for pupils and professionals alike in our Schools.John Lyon, a farming landowner from north-west London, was granted a Royal Charter by Queen Elizabeth I in 1572 to establish a school in Harrow on the Hill and to provide an endowment to maintain the road from Harrow on the Hill to Marble Arch. Today, we sustain our founder’s legacy by working to transform the lives of children and young people through education.

Founded on the strength of Harrow School and John Lyon School, founded in 1572 and 1876 respectively, we are growing through carefully chosen partnerships with like-minded schools that share our ambition to provide exceptional education while preserving the distinctive character and heritage of every institution.
