This was a tough first fixture but one that all the teams rose to. The 1st VI won all three sets, defeating a strong Eton first pair in an overall 7-2 victory. The 2nd VI secured a close but exciting victory, winning 5-4, with the first pair undefeated. The Colts As and Bs both won 5-4 in tight matches. Both the Junior Colts A and B squads narrowly lost to Eton, five matches to four.  The Yearlings got off to a winning start with both A and B teams winning 5-4.
