Senior Maths Challenge

Boys from all year groups sat the Senior Maths Challenge shortly after half term, earning 36 gold, 51 silver and 31 bronze certificates.

This competition aims to stimulate mathematical problem solving in pupils aged 18 and under. Only the top-scoring 60% of participants are recognised through formal awards. In addition, around 1,000 of the very highest performers are invited to take part in the British Mathematical Olympiad Round 1 and around 6,000 to take part in the Senior Kangaroo.

Particular congratulations are due to Andrew Zhou, who scored full marks in the Challenge; other boys worthy of commendation for earning scores over 100 were Junseok Choi, Pasa Suksmith, Girk Yin, James Yuen, Ostap Stefak and Kostya Sidiakin.
