Pasmore Gallery: A display of innovative and thought-provoking A-Level photography

The Sixth Form display is an abundance of creativity; urban metropolises, closeup images of highly magnetic fluid, and drone photography. Topics tackled include the environment, poverty, and globalisation, and uses a variety of processes from George Jenkins’ cyanotypes to Mustafa Akhtar’s double exposures. Declan Shortt’s The Flow of Light combined post-production manipulation with creative ingenuity to create an image bursting with light; "the image was taken in a forest near where I live, and I used a shutter speed of around 30 seconds and some lights to create the image.”
