Roentgenium Award

Two Harrovians are among a handful of students to be awarded the highly prestigious Roentgenium award from the University of Cambridge.

The boys took part in the annual C3L6 exam, a tough chemistry challenge, and placed in the top 0.5% of 15,000 candidates, earning a place on a residential summer camp at St Catherine's College, Cambridge.

In total, 42 Harrovians sat the paper which is designed to stretch well beyond Lower Sixth chemistry content. Between them, they achieved 10 copper, 13 silver and 13 gold awards, one of which was awarded to a Fifth Former.
