Encouraging intellectual debate and providing opportunities to develop and follow passions is central to a Harrow education.

Days on the Hill are full of such opportunities, including a plethora of specialised societies that provide a platform for boys to research and present on topics of interest to them.

In the first three weeks of term boys have inspired debate with talks on everything from 'Women in the Ancient World' to 'Virtual World Real Architecture: How Video Games Show the True Potential of Architecture’. Read more about our boy-led Clubs and Societies here.

Societies have also welcomed numerous external speakers including Professor Tim Coulson, Professor of Zoology at the University of Oxford; Jordan Stanton, Sleep, Mindset and Wellness Coach; and Dr Ingrid Schroder, the Director of the Architecture Association School.
