OH is named captain of England national rugby team
Maro Itoje (The Grove 20113) has been named captain of the England national rugby team for the Six Nations, becoming the 136th player - and the second Old Harrovian after Albert Hornby (Druries 18621) - to hold this prestigious title.
At the School, Maro excelled both on and off the field. An OT Scholar and School Monitor, he was also a member of the Philathletic and, naturally, played for the 1st XV Rugby team.
We are immensely proud of Maro’s remarkable achievement and wish him every success in leading England through the upcoming Championship.
