Harrow hosts Rugby Festival with the School of Hard Knocks
Harrow hosted the School of Hard Knocks (SOHK) charity schools programme for their annual Harrow Rugby Festival. The SOHK is a unique long-term programme that uses weekly rugby coaching, classroom sessions and mentoring to improve attendance and behaviour at school with the ultimate aim of helping children avoid permanent exclusion and complete mainstream education in schools.
Ten schools from across London and Hertfordshire were involved with over 250 boys playing rugby during the afternoon, with members of the Harrow 1st XV on hand to help coach the boys and referee the matches.
