Harrow football kicks off
Harrow football season has started with traditional gusto involving spirit, competition and plenty of mud.
The weekend saw the first matches in the House competition as well as fixtures against teams of Old Harrovians.
The game was invented at Harrow over 200 years ago as a precursor to soccer and is played every year in the Spring term. It started life as 'fug' and involved much larger teams playing for more than two hours at a time.
