Harrow School and Young Harrow Foundation awarded Partnership/Collaboration of the Year Award at Young People’s Foundation Trust Awards 2021

Young Harrow Foundation (YHF) were recently awarded Partnership/Collaboration of the Year Award at the Young People’s Foundation Trust Awards for ongoing collaborative work with Harrow.

A membership organisation set up by John Lyon’s Charity, YHF supports the local voluntary sector by focusing on the five key areas of mental health, physical health, inequality, youth violence and employment.

The partnership between Young Harrow Foundation and Harrow School has developed significantly, with large scale collaboration in several areas including opening School grounds and buildings for the charity to use for young people during Easter and Summer.

As well as providing facilities, staffing and resources for young people’s activities, we have given almost £200,000 in funding to programmes in the borough, providing grants and resources for the programmes that would have the greatest impact.

Through our ongoing collaboration, we will continue to provide support and opportunity for young people in Harrow facing significant barriers to progress in partnership with YHF.
