In 2022 Harrow School will mark the 450th anniversary of its founding when Queen Elizabeth I granted a charter to John Lyon to build a school on Harrow Hill.
As we celebrate our long and distinguished past, we also look to refound our future with an ambitious development programme that will provide an abiding legacy for years to come.
This programme will see considerable investment in our bursary provision and buildings, innovation in learning and scholarship, and the preservation of our key historic buildings.
Foremost among the School's priorities is the widening of our bursary provision and, by 2030, we aim to transform lives by offering more fully funded places to boys from disadvantaged backgrounds.
At the same time, we begin work on the construction of a new science building which will provide 14 state-of-the-art Biology and Chemistry laboratories and a 180-seat lecture theatre equipped with the latest audio-visual technology.
