Churchill Songs 2024

Boys and invited guests gathered in Speech Room for the annual Churchill Songs.

Songs are a key part of life and tradition at Harrow and are sung on many occasions throughout the School calendar.

This year we were joined by a hundred guests including Guest of Honour, Tom Dannatt (Bradbys 19923), Founder of Street Child, to mark the 150th anniversary of the Harrow Giant's birth.

This unique Harrow tradition, held each autumn term in honour of Sir Winston Churchill (The Head Master's 18882), dates to 1940 when the then prime minister returned to sing with the School, lifting spirits in the darkest days of war.
