Byron Consort sings in Windsor
The Byron Consort, Harrow’s elite chamber choir, was privileged to be invited to sing Choral Evensong at St George’s Chapel Windsor, one of the most beautiful and historically important churches in the country.
They sang a mixture of Catholic music from the Renaissance (Palestrina’s 8-part setting of Magnus Sanctus Paulus) and Anglican music from the early 20th Century (Wood’s Collegium Regale double choir setting of the Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis), as well as the Preces & Responses and the psalm set for the day.
