Winston Churchill and Harrow talk

OH and former beak, Dale Vargas, delivered a fascinating talk on 'Winston Churchill and Harrow'.

The talk was part of the OSRG (Old Speech Room Gallery) series and marks the 150th anniversary of Sir Winston Leonard Spencer Churchill's (The Head Master's 18882) birth, on 30 November 1874.

Members of the public can view a special exhibition at the OSRG entitled 'Images of Churchill at Harrow' on 29 November. It features artworks, documents and other related materials that have been brought together for the first time. They cover his life from his arrival at Harrow as a schoolboy in 1888 and include his celebrated return visits to the Hill in later years for Harrow Songs.

The gallery is open to the public between 2.30-5pm on 29 November.
