Welcoming Afua Hirsch

Members of Harrow School's Perceval Society welcomed the British broadcaster and writer Afua Hirsch.

Ms Hirsch, who has worked as a journalist for The Guardian and editor at Sky News, is the author of the book: Brit(ish): On Race, Identity and Belonging, for which she received a Royal Society of Literature Jerwood Award for Non-Fiction while writing it.

The Perceval Society celebrates African and Caribbean culture. Its aim is to bring to the fore ideas around race, prejudice and international politics. It is one of 85 Clubs and Societies that are mainly run by Harrovians.
