We welcomed historian and journalist, Katja Hoyer, for a talk on her native East Germany based on her best-selling book 'Beyond the Wall'.

The evening was held in Speech Room and was attended by Harrovians interested in Germany and politics and pupils from local schools.

Ms Hoyer offered a fascinating, well-balanced mix of historical facts and figures and insightful anecdotes that brought the period and society 'beyond the wall' to life.
