Six Harrovians have been longlisted in the first round of one of the highest-level academic prizes at Harrow.

Sixth Formers wrote essays for The Verney Prize for argument and those that made it on to the longlist have been sent to the external adjudicator, Alister McGrath, Emeritus Professor of Science and Religion at Oxford University. The final round will take place on Tuesday 7 November.
