This year's winner of The Verney Prize for Argument was chosen by external adjudicator, the author and theologian Professor Nigel Biggar.

The Verney Prize is a prestigious academic prize at Harrow School. The prize itself was donated by His Honour Judge Lawrence John Verney in 1974 to mark the link of 200 years between Harrow and the Verney family.
