The Palmerston Society welcomed The Right Honourable Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg to Harrow.

Sir Jacob, a well-known Conservative party member and former cabinet minister, joined the Palmerston Society Secretaries for a black-tie dinner at Newlands before he spoke to 116 Harrovians about representative democracy and the need for political parties to adapt their views to reflect voters.

Sir Jacob enjoyed a lively and long question time after the event.
