Sheridan Society lecture
The Sheridan Society welcomed Dr Harvey Wiltshire who addressed Harrovians on 'The Anatomy of Shakespeare'.
Dr Wiltshire, a university Teaching Fellow, explored the art of bloodletting, bloodlines, the body politic and the circulation of humours, paying particular attention to Othello, Hamlet, Twelfth Night, The Tempest, and A Midsummer Night's Dream.
The Sheridan Society, named after the playwright Richard Brinsley Sheridan, who was a pupil at Harrow from 1762 to 1768, is for boys who have an enthusiasm for English literature and language.
