An Harrovian has set a new UK U18 record in triple jump after competing at the England U20 Indoor Championships.

Tito won gold in the event with a championship best performance of 16.01m. The jump was the best in Europe by a considerable margin and the best achieved worldwide by an U18 athlete in over a decade.

Tito has since gone on to become the youngest ever winner of the men's British title at the Novuna UK Athletics Indoor Championships.

Held in Birmingham, Tito took gold in the men's triple jump. Having led the competition into round six, following a best effort of 15.48m, Tito went on to achieve 15.75m in round six, ensuring he claimed the title. At just 16 years of age, Tito becomes the youngest ever winner of the men's British title.
