Harrow School and Notting Hill and Ealing High School Gender Symposium
Founded in 1660, the Royal Society's motto 'Nullius in verba' is taken to mean 'take nobody's word for it'. Over 360 years later, 20 Lower Sixth Harrow boys and 20 girls from Notting Hill and Ealing High School were also encouraged to think, collaborate and create in an interdisciplinary manner in a Symposium entitled 'Gender like you’ve never seen it before'. For one stimulating afternoon of presentations at The Royal Society, the mixed teams explored the theme of ‘gender’ in surprising and enlightening ways.
