Essay Competitions

Harrovians have had a number of successes in recent national essay competitions.

Cyrus Chang won the Warwick University Global Sustainable Development essay competition with his response to the title: ‘The UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are due to expire in 2030. What would you propose to substitute the UN SDGs after 2030?’.

Jaden Lim won the Year 12-13 category of The Oxford Scientist Schools Competition with his essay on ‘Dogs, avocados and yoghurt – harnessing evolution through domestication’.

Lucian Tyacke and Aris Aldrich-Blake were highly commended in the Economasters essay competition for their essays. Marc Gaw came second in the competition.
