During the half-term break, over one hundred Harrovians joined philanthropist, technologist, and co-founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, in a live webinar run by the How To Academy.

Harrovians listened to Bill Gates discuss the climate change crisis facing our planet with Alok Sharma, President of the COP26 Climate Conference.

"This was a unique and exciting opportunity for Harrovians to engage with such an impressive public figure on such an important and existential subject."

Gates posited a broad and practical plan for how the world can reach zero greenhouse emissions before climate disaster. More specifically, Gates outlined the important work being done to lead green innovation projects in the food, steel, aviation and cement industries, and stressed the importance of the work that all people can do as consumers.
