Churchill Songs

One of Harrow School's most eagerly anticipated events was marked by voices proudly singing in Speech Room this week.

Churchill Songs - which commemorates the life of one of our greatest Old Harrovians, Winston Churchill - was once again held in person following a virtual event last year.

Led by selected singers and with guest of honour Lord Sedwill, the School's Songs were heartfelt and loudly sung. The songs were written by Old Harrovian Masters over the years and are now an embedded part of every Harrovian.

In certain special years, the event has been held at the Royal Albert Hall, when the venue has been packed with 5000 Harrovians, Old Harrovians and parents.
