Sir Winston Churchill (The Head Master's 1888²) was born on this day 150 years ago.

The military officer, statesman and writer, who led the country through World War II as prime minister, began his education at Harrow in 1888.

The School remembers Churchill with the annual Churchill Songs, commemorating the times when the former Prime Minster returned to the Hill to sing with the boys.
