Congratulations to Maro Itoje (The Grove 2011³), who has been named captain of the British and Irish Lions for this summer's tour of Australia.

We are immensely proud of Maro’s remarkable achievement and wish him every success in leading the Lions.

At the School, Maro excelled both on and off the field. An OT Scholar and School Monitor, he was also a member of the Philathletic and, naturally, played for the 1st XV Rugby team.
