Amy Varle, advocate for homeless people and motivational speaker, addressed the whole School on the topic of 'Homelessness: the issues and what can be done to address them'. The talk was part of a boy-led initiative including a brand-new PSHE lesson for Upper Sixth boys on the topic.

Having experienced homelessness herself as a young woman, Amy dedicated her life's work to researching and creating solutions to the problem, eventually presenting her research to Downing Street and creating social enterprises which helped many homeless people in Manchester.
