An Old Harrovian is taking on the challenge of seven marathons in seven days across seven European cities.
Ibi Akhtar (The Head Master’s 2010³) is running to raise funds for The Archie Lloyd Charitable Foundation in memory of his School-friend Archie who was passionate about sport.
The funds will be used to support two causes: the Alsama Project - which sets up sports and education programmes in the Shatila, Bouri al-Baraineh and Beqaa Valley refugee camps in Lebanon and Football Beyond Borders (FBB) - which works with disadvantaged young people across the UK who are passionate about football but disengaged at school, to help them finish school with the skills and grades to make a successful transition into adulthood.
