Archive Object of the Term: Original Trollope Manuscript

Born 24 April 1815, Anthony Trollope attended Harrow from 1823 as a home-boarder. He would go on to become one of the School's most successful authors, writing nearly 60 novels and 20 non-fiction works during his lifetime. This term’s object is the original manuscript for the fourth novel in the Chronicles of Barsetshire series, called Framley Parsonage. The novel was first published in 1860 and is the only original manuscript in the UK.
