As part of the School’s 450th anniversary celebrations, the Harrow Association, together with the Harrow Development Trust, is planning a global series of Giant Talks, presentations delivered by Old Harrovians who are leaders in their fields. Eminent Harrovians will be invited to deliver a talk on their areas of expertise to audiences of Old Harrovians, initially in London, elsewhere in the UK and, when travel allows, in major cities around the world.
The first Giant Talk will be delivered by Paul Manduca (Rendalls 1965³) on the subject of The City of London: Global Leadership Post Brexit?. Paul, who was Chairman of Prudential UK 2012-20 and became Chair of St James’s Place this year, will give his observations for the City in the post-Brexit world in a period of great upheaval. Read more about Paul's distinguished career in the City here: www.sjp.co.uk/about-us/directors
Date: Monday 11 October 2021
Venue: Cavalry & Guards Club, 127 Piccadilly, London W1 7PX
Timing: 6.30pm for 7.15pm.
Paul’s lecture will start at 7.15pm and be followed by a Q&A where he will be joined by several other City-based OHs for a panel discussion.
Drinks and canapés will be available before and after the lecture as well as an opportunity for networking with fellow OHs.
