Harrow Family of Schools

The AISL Harrow Schools, Amity Harrow Schools and Harrow School Online use Harrow School’s Name and Badge under a sub-licence granted by Harrow International Schools Limited (HISL - for AISL Harrow Schools and Amity Harrow Schools) and Harrow School Enterprises Limited (HSEL - for Harrow School Online), trading subsidiaries of the charity registered in England and Wales with charity number 310033 which owns Harrow School and its trademark, in return for a fee. The educational, administrative, financial and other operational responsibilities of the AISL Harrow Schools, Amity Harrow Schools and Harrow School Online are separate from those of Harrow School and rest with their owners and operators. The schools’ fees are paid to their owners and operators and not to Harrow School, HISL or HSEL. Under the sub-licence, these schools are required to reflect Harrow School’s educational purpose, practice, strategy and philosophy and each is regularly evaluated by representatives of HISL or HSEL. The schools’ Governing Boards include representatives of HISL or HSEL.

Harrow School takes seriously complaints and concerns it receives about any Harrow-branded school. The Harrow School brand is licenced by the charity that owns Harrow School through its subsidiary companies, Harrow International Schools Limited (HISL) and Harrow School Enterprises Limited (HSEL), to the independent owners and operators of the Harrow-branded schools. The educational, administrative, financial and other operational responsibilities of those schools are separate from those of Harrow School and rest with their owners and operators. Accordingly, the handling of a complaint or concern is the responsibility of the Harrow-branded school concerned, and of its owners. Through HISL or HSEL, Harrow School will pass on the complaint or concern to the owners and operators of the Harrow-branded school concerned, in accordance with the terms of the school’s licence.
