On Friday 9 November, Ed Warner, Co-Founder and CEO of Walking With The Wounded will be speaking to the entire Shell year group in Speech Room.
Established in 2010, Walking With The Wounded helps vulnerable veterans to re-integrate back into society and to sustain their independence - at the heart of which is employment. Through their programmes, the charity works with veterans who have been disadvantaged by their service to establish new careers outside of the military. This includes providing support to homeless veterans and veterans in the Criminal Justice System. This talk is particularly poignant in the build up to Armistice Day on Sunday 11 November.
