In November, a depleted Harrow swimming team of 21 narrowly but determinedly won their gala against Dulwich College, one of the toughest competitors in the UK.
The margin was a three-point win for Harrow in the end. The gala was characterised by excellent team spirit, determination and resilience. The key swimmers were: Harrison Layden-Fritz (West Acre), who accomplished a best time in his backstroke win, Rahul Poniah (Newlands) and Andre Ma (Moretons). Honourable mentions went to the Rates brothers, George and James (Newlands), for very impressive swims in their legs of the relays.
