On Saturday 23 April, Harrow's Swimming team hosted one of its most important galas of the year, against Blackrock College Dublin, King's Canterbury and Eton. With nail-biting races and some strong competition from the Irish side, Harrow won the gala convincingly with 144 points, followed by Blackrock with 98, Eton with 78 and King's with 55. The gala was followed by a water polo tournament, with Harrow winning on overall number of goals scored, after a three-all draw with Eton and a 5-2 victory in extra time against Blackrock.
On Thursday 28 April, our Junior and Torpid swimmers faced St Paul's for a home gala, which we won. In the final, full-team 10 by 50 squadron race, the team were ahead by one and a half lengths.
