The final matches of the autumn term signalled the end of the most successful Harrow rugby season of recent years. The 1st XV led the way, remaining unbeaten throughout a tough fixture list - only the 4th time that this has been achieved in 89 years of rugby at Harrow.
The School’s 20 teams played 163 fixtures, winning 103, drawing 1 and losing 59 to finish with a 63.2% win percentage across the rugby club.
The Yearlings (U14) A team also had an unbeaten season, finishing with a superb victory in the Middlesex Cup final at Allianz Park. There were also one-loss seasons for the Yearlings B, Colts B and 4th XV.
The Colts A team played some superb rugby, averaging the most points per game across the club.
This year we have supported two rugby related charities - the School of Hard Knocks and Wooden Spoon, which has involved Harrovians across the school mentoring, coaching and playing against boys facing disability or disadvantage.
