51 boys take part in Chemistry Olympiad

51 Harrovians entered this year’s Olympiad run by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

By the end of the competition, the Harrow team had collected 11 Bronze, 13 Silver and six Gold awards, the latter of which are awarded only to the top 8% of over 7,000 entrants. Particular congratulations for securing these to Andrew Zhou (Lyon's), Pasa Suksmith (Elmfield), William Cleeve (Lyon's), Amar Patel (Elmfield), William Lintott (The Grove) and Junesok Choi (Newlands - who has only studied A level Chemistry for one term) .

Andrew Zhou has been invited to the Olympiad's second round for the second year in a row. We wish him all the best for his participation in the highly competitive residential course, which takes place in Cambridge in the next couple of weeks.
