Following Alastair Chirnside's appointment as Deputy Head Master, we are pleased to announce that Dr Michael Gray will become Harrow's Director of Studies from April 2019.

Michael graduated with a first in History from King's College London. While teaching full-time at Halliford School in Shepperton and St Edward's School, Oxford, he completed his Masters and PhD at the University of London’s Institute of Education. Michael has published several peer-reviewed articles as well as two books on Holocaust education. He joined Harrow in 2013 and was Head of Politics until his appointment to Academic and Universities Director in 2017. As Director of Studies at Harrow, Michael will have responsibility for academic strategy, the curriculum, teaching and learning, and Heads of Subject.
