International Sporting Success

Over recent months, several Harrovians have seen national and international success in the sporting arena.

  • Remove (Year Ten pupil) Nicklas Host-Verbraak (The Head Master's) was selected to join Foiling Team Norway. FTN supports talented sailors aged 13 to 20 with a boat and coaching in the WASZP class of foiling (or flying) boats. Nicklas is FTN's youngest member to date and took part in the European Championships on Lake Garda in Italy.
  • Lower Sixth Former Rishi Wijeratne won Middlesex Cricket Club’s Youth Player of the Year award for 2018. Read more here.
  • Remove Remi Jokosenumi (Lyon's) became the National Indoor Champion at 60m and 200m in the Under-15 age group.
  • Upper Sixth Former Hugo Taylor (Druries) was a member of the team that won polo’s Gold Cup, the highest-level tournament in the UK, playing alongside some of the best polo players in the world. He also played for the England Under-21 team against the USA.
