Four Golds at International Chemistry Olympiad

Thirty-three Harrovians in the Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth entered for the 1st Round of the International Chemistry Olympiad, held at the end of last term. The School was awarded 4 Gold certificates, 12 Silver and 8 Bronze. Golds went to Takehiro Fujita, Leroy Lim, Clement Woo and Chris Cheung. Takehiro was selected to go through to Round 2, held at Cambridge University during the Easter holidays, and narrowly missed out on a place in the four-man UK team, coming fifth in the country. This is the best achievement by a Harrovian in this competition for some time.
