Visual Arts
The Art Department comprises painting, drawing and printmaking studios in the original Art Schools building, with sculpture, pottery, stage design and photography studios in two annexes.
The Studios are open to all, not just those taking public examinations, and at no charge. Instruction in a wide range of skills and a variety of media is available. Boys are encouraged to contribute to their House's entry in the annual House Art Competition, and to arrange group and solo exhibitions in the Shepherd Churchill Hall.
There are regular visits to exhibitions in London and the Pasmore Society invites artists to speak about their work.
