Old Speech Room Gallery Arts Society

Boys are given a rare opportunity to help in the Old Speech Room Gallery, an art gallery and museum within the School. This includes the curating of exhibitions.

The Society serves as the keystone for a programme of external visits to see art and architecture elsewhere. Recent trips include 'cutting edge' art at the Saatchi Gallery, a private showing of architectural drawings at the Sir John Soane's Museum and a personal tour of a European Sculpture sale at Sotheby's.

Exhibitions such as Surrealism and Andy Warhol at Tate Modern, Stanley Spencer at Tate Britain, Paris: Capital of the Arts 1900-1968 at the Royal Academy and the new British Galleries at the V & A have proved popular.
