Welcome to Harrow School

Harrow and the Community

Media Elements

The original Statutes of Harrow School’s Founder stated that his school was to provide free education for thirty local scholars, a number later increased to forty by the Governors.

Harrow School's location in the middle of Harrow on the Hill, and its purpose of providing an education for local boys, have ensured that the School has, in one way or another, had a considerable, and positive, impact on the local community.

In the last century, the amount of effort that the School's management and pupils have put into supporting community initiatives and providing facilities, education and resources for local projects and schools has increased rapidly.
