The Chapel Choir is one of the largest ensembles to rehearse and perform regularly throughout the year. It currently numbers more than 60 boys and provides music for at least one service each Sunday during term time as well as performing at special services and concerts.
All new boys are voice-tested upon entering Harrow, and the treble line mainly comprises new Shell boys. The Alto, Tenor and Bass lines feature the best singers in the School. When a boy’s voice ‘breaks’ he might move to the Harmony Choir until he is ready to return to the ‘back rows’ of the Chapel Choir.
Director of Music, David Woodcock, directs the Choir.
