Jubilee Churchill Songs at the Royal Albert Hall 2012

On 20 November 2012 we will return to the Royal Albert Hall, for the fifth time, as the venue for this year’s Churchill Songs concert. The previous events of this type have been uplifting and hugely memorable occasions when the School, Old Harrovians and our families and guests have come together to celebrate and enjoy the distinctive tradition of singing Harrow Songs.

Of course, in this Jubilee year we have particular reason to be in celebratory mood. Her Majesty the Queen was our Guest of Honour at Harrow in 1986, on the 47th occasion of Churchill Songs. Alongside our annual reflections on Sir Winston Churchill we will be mindful of Her Majesty’s remarkable anniversary. - Mr Jim Hawkins, Head Master
