What the boys think

The boys in Lyon's House are in the unique position of being founder members of the first new boarding house to be established at Harrow School for over 100 years. What do they think of life in this brand new House?

  • The House has been great for helping me settle in. The quiet, friendly environment means that I can have a great time with my new friends whilst also maintaining a studious mindset.
  • Coming from Nigeria I thought that it would be difficult to settle in but the friendly atmosphere in the House has meant that I have had no problems at all.
  • The House’s great facilities mean that it is a great place to live; they ensure that we can excel in both our work and our play.
  • The atmosphere is a friendly one in which each boy can thrive and achieve their best.
  • I have loved Lyon’s from the start as I have made lots of new friends and there is already a great atmosphere in the House.
  • Lyon's has an atmosphere unlike any others, where boys of all different shapes and sizes feel at home.
  • The senior boys in the House have made it easy for me to settle in by showing me my way around the School and explaining the various traditions to me.
